Our family very much enjoyed our stay at The Grand. It was clean, well laid out and very comfortable. Only issue we had was the microwave was a bit temperamental. I would definitely stay again though and recommend it to family and friends.

Toilet tiles damaged with sharp edges around the floor to wall height . Toilet suite has large half push button and the same with the full , these were corroded and unsanitary to touch. Kettle was corroded and needed replacement. Very noisey aircon outside on upstairs room this was banging all through the night . Pretty poor condition property. I was fooled like most by the photos on Expedia.I would say pay a bit more and get a nicer spot. Also car park options are costly $25 inside park.$15 outside of the building.

Charged for parking. Check in staff on that day wasn't very welcoming. Hallway smelled of stale air and humid. Room itself was clean but adjoining rooms means can be noisy. Got woken up while I was sleeping during the day asking if I could move my vehicle.

I stayed at the Grand twice in one week and could not have had 2 different experiences. The first stay i stayed on the 4th floor at the rear of the hotel. It was nice and quite and i had a good sleep. Unfortunately the second night I stayed at the Grand i was put on level one next to the elevator shaft. Suffice to say i had zero sleep and an extremely restless night. From the noise from over the road combined with the elevator i had no sleep.
