Overall, the Sugar Beach is a lovely place to stay in Traverse City. My only complaint would be with the breakfast. They were not even worth eating. Coffee was good though.

With a hotel half empty we were assigned a room next to a large open area where there was a large family who were very loud a we couldn’t get to sleep. After complaining, we were moved to a quieter area (where we should have been assigned inn thee first place.Granted, the problem was resolved but only after complaining.
