"We had a wonderful week at River Aeron Retreat. The property is extremely well equipped, comfortable and in a lovely location. The terrace is an added bonus and a lovely place to sit and listen to the river flowing by and to bird watch. Aberaeron is a very pretty town with an interesting heritage. "This is a Marston's Pub/Diner with a separate accommodation block. It's a bit out of the centre of Aberystwyth but has plenty of onsite parking. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The "Pub" is really a restaurant, often with no seating to just have a drink. If you want an evening meal there, book it. Food is standard pub fare, but the Staff, who double as Reception and Bar Staff were very good."

"Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Park Lodge. We were very happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the staff were excellent. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was good. The bathroom was a little on the cozy side, but functional, although I think a large person would struggle with the basin being very close to the sink. A slight downside (not the fault of the hotel) was the main road running outside our window. Lorries were trundling past at all hours, and even with the window closed it was quite noisy. Parking was excellent and the grounds were very neat and tidy. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. We would definitely stay again."
