"This is a beautiful little property set in a quiet location. The property is immaculate and the host very professional and friendly It’s an ideal location to visit the north coast. Recommend visiting the rising sun pub in Altarnun which is 10 mins drive away which is a traditional Cornish pub with excellent food."

"Overall the chalet was ok, but it is very dated, the sofa is very old with ripped cushions. The place just smells stale and dated. Having a pound meter in use is very old school and we just don’t carry change very often. So this is a pain. Would we come back.. no."

"We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "

"We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in."

"We had a lovely stay in Thurlibeer House. It was perfect for the whole family, 12 of us in total, lots of space and bedrooms upstairs and downstairs for all. Host was on site if needed but left us to it. Beautiful outdoor space. Would certainly visit again."

"Loved my stay with my dog Ralph who loved the beaches. Had a slight issue with connecting to the internet when I arrived but that was sorted and Christine was on the phone to assist as well. The downside is that parking isn't great and I didn't fancy leaving my car in the road outside the house but I always managed to get a space in the square opposite the pub. The pub was only 50 or so metres from the house so no problem with the worry about drinking and driving and the food was very good."

"Perfect for two people, cottage finished to a high standard and very clean. Location is amazing, private with fantastic unspoilt views from the conservatory, which we were informed is being extended for next year. Lots of places to visit and eat out within easy reach should you want to, or just stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. We would definitely stay here again, thank you John & Wendy for our week."

"The cottage was really lovely, and a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend it. We loved being on the farm and my children loved the animals, especially the dogs and horses that would come to say hello. We loved the open plan cottage. "We had a small misunderstanding about the composition of our group meaning we didn't have the right combination of beds made up - but the owners responded quickly and helpfully, as they did to all questions. The large kitchen dining area was a fabulous feature, so was the lounge. The garden was also fabulous although the weather wasn't kind to us so we couldn't use it as much as we hoped. "Beautiful property in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Located on a farm in the Higher Tregawne area. Perfect for a weeks stay, our converted barn was well equipped & had beautiful views across the north Cornish countryside. A nice touch was to find a selection of goodies incl. wine on our arrival. It would have been nice to meet our hosts at least once during our stay but unfortunately this wasn’t to be. Overall though, great value for money & we really enjoyed our stay."

"Beds were excellent, cottage was clean and well equiped. Arrive Friday 20th around 14:15 and was told check-in was not until 16:00, bit we could buy and extra hour for a fee. This seems rather a poor way to welcome guests who are spending Hundreds of pounds on accommodation. On later checking the "welcome letter" it actually quoted 15:00 check-in. It left a bad taste from this 1 reception person. Otherwise the stay was good."
