"Very close to the ski slops, local restaurants and bars. Ski rental downstairs and very friendly and helpful ski rental owner- Thoni :). Ski bus stops at the property. Very good communication with the owner, flexible check in/out. Very clean place, kitchen well equiped. Good value for money."

"I miss ths place. I liked privacy and feel that we were only inhabitants despite there were other groups.European type kitchen in apartment . I like the feeling that everything in the building was secure and strong.We had best breathtaking views ever possible over Bormio town down in the basin which is surrounded by 10.000 feet multiple snowy peaks.This residence is 1000 feet above Bormio so be prepared to drive switchbacks on a quite narrow lane in a traffic sometimes .Grocery store is few...

"This property appears to have remodeled and non remodeled apartments. Apt 9 is not remodeled and on the third floor ( no elevator). The bath and bedroom ceilings slope and are dangerous for anyone over 6’. They claim it has three twin beds but it’s really two twins and a cot. This apt comes with no hand soap ( I’ve stayed in hotels in Cambodia and Laos that provide hand soap), no dish soap, no sponge or dish towel to clean dishes ( kitchen did have one hand towel. "The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating. We checked in early so we could take advantage of the Engadin discount card that included the chair lift to Alp Languard. When we returned to the hotel, they had already put our suitcases in our room. Also we needed to checkout early to catch the Glacier Express train and the staff came early to allow us to eat breakfast before we left and even drove us to the train station!"

"We LOVED everything about this hotel. We were sad to leave. An amazing comfortable common room with a bar and fireplace. Exits right onto the path to the lifts. A most amazing breakfast and lovely dinner available. Bruno and Monika at the bar and Yusuf in the dining room so gracious. Barbara at registration so helpful .The indoor pool very relaxing. Lovely town!"

"Communication prior to stay was quick and useful! Upon arrival, the staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Check-in was easy and someone was on hand to assist if needed. All staff members were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, hikes, trains, public transportation, etc During breakfast, the manager checked in with guests to see how their stay was going. Lobby, dining, and lounge area are bright, modern, clean and we loved the cozy area by the fireplace! Room was nice size and spa was relaxing! Having a few tv channels in English was appreciated! Great stay!"

"Was not able to accomplish planned 100 ride due to fatigue. However the room was very pleasant and allowed for a great day of rest and recuperation. Hope to return someday to Pontresina to attempt the ride and when I do I look to once again staying at this great locale in the Engadin Valley. Thanks Hotel Steinbock for a great stay"
