"I was on a 15 day trip traveling from Tokyo to Sapporo when Aomori was on our northern Japan road trip. Brand new hotel and spa right in the heart of Aomori! Great staff (Alicia is the best front desk receptionist and concierge) and nice and very clean facility. Walkable to almost everything and it is attached to the Aomori train station (which makes it easy to transfer). A must try breakfast and spa facility with some of the nicest and sweetest staff in Japan. Would definitely stay again if I...

"The answer was absolutely wonderful. The beds were a little hard, but were okay. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. We love all the amenities that come with the Dormy Inn like the free ramen and the welcome drinks. The breakfast was a good combination of Japanese and continental. There was something for every palate and the dishes were all quite good. We love how convenient the location is in. The parking on premises really helped us navigate Hirosaki."

"A hotel and area that has seen better days. Cramped room and bathroom. Very narrow bed. Unit bath is old and fading, with old, non-directional shower head. "

"While I booked a double-bed room, at check in, I requested a change to twin beds. I was shocked that the extra charge was ¥7,950. At another hotel in Aomori, I did the same and paid ONLY ¥2,000. This Route Inn charge of ¥7,950 was outrageous. As well the breakfast was terrible with very limited choice. I won’t recommend anyone to stay here. The bed was too hard too like I was lying on a concrete floor. "

"Facility is dated, one of the elevator was inoperative. There are bugs in the room, according to the front desk staff it’s normal during this time of the year. Both breakfast and dinner are good inclusive to the price. "
