"There are holiday letting operators; then there are holiday hosts. Albert is a one of the latter. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided a superb daily breakfast or brunch with a fruit platter, home-made bread, and even eggs from his chooks. This is glamping - it's not for fusspots - it's a farmlet with insects, frog & bird noises, and the kitchen/living room/toilet are about 40m from the tent. "Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Had a great stay! Bed very comfortable. Everything there that we needed! Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely spot! Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. Initially thought it was from bathroom but after 2 days realised there must be a pipe broken under the floor! Apart from that everything was prefect "
