no swimming or motorized boats in the lake. We allow dogs. A $100 pet fee must be paid before arriving at the location. each home has a ring door bell camera, if you bring a pet without paying the fee it will increase to $250. Thank you for understanding!

Talk about beauty! This Southern Cottage sits on a double lot on Lake Kathy and is located just 30 mins south of Chattanooga off I-75. Super Easy to find.

*no swimming or motorized boats in the lake.
This gorgeous cottage was just completely gutted and remodeled in October 2023 with gorgeous quartz countertops, custom tiled shower, new paint, shiplap wall and new split unit AC system.

The water pressure issue and some of the past reviews has been fixed! All new plumbing throughout.

This home is just around 600 sq ft and has 1 bed/1 bath, full kitchen and nice living room with LED TV and huge stone gas fireplace.

The view from either inside or outside of the cottage is beautiful. It overlooks Lake Kathy and is PERFECT for a couples get away. Lake Kathy is not a fresh water lake it is a huge pond.

There is 1 queen sized bed and a love seat and couch. They do not pull out into an actual bed.

This is a NON SMOKING (INSIDE)

Listen to the birds and the geese sing while you sit on your rocking chair back porch! Want to fish? Literally open the door and walk straight out to your dock on the water without your feet ever touching grass!

Its time to relax and get back to nature. Rest, Rejuvenate and Relax!

The smell of the pine trees and quite peaceful days are calling!

*This is a personally owned home and is not part of a cottage community for rentals. There are houses all around however this home has a fence blocking next door and a large open lot on one side. This is a well established older neighborhood surrounded by good old country folk who are super kind!

Nice cabin
What a nice cabin. I felt like I was in On Golden Pond movie. I was so relaxed there watching the geese and ducks. The inside of the cabin was well stocked and nicely decorated. The neighborhood houses around it were run down somewhat but it looks like somebody was fixing up many of the properties. I did feel safe at the cabin and taking a walk. We’ll be back.

Amazing Cabin
We had a wonderful time at this little Cabin. The lake view was breathtaking with Geese and Ducks covering the pond. So nice to sit on the private dock in the morning with a nice cup of coffee watching the Geese fly in. Very close to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and downtown Chattanooga, TN. If you are looking to unplug and enjoy life, I highly recommend staying here!

What a wonderful little find! My husband and I had an amazing get away! This oasis is clean comfy and coooozy! We LOVED the setting and lake! We will definitely be back!!! Cassie the housekeeper and now a sweet friend was the BEST! She was sooo attentive to anything we needed… not to mention… a playlist of love songs playing on the tv when we arrived that her daughter helped pick out! GREAT little oasis! Looking for another weekend to go back now! Thank you guys for making it sooooo special!!!

Quiet, beautiful stay!
My husband and I came here for a little babymoon before baby #4 arrives and this cottage was just perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The cabin was clean and had nice updates. It had pretty much everything we were looking for in our stay. I will say we had trouble with directions at first because the street sign is small and the neighborhood doesn’t match the same ambiance as the cabin. But we had no problems at all after we arrived! We got such a kick out of the geese:) Loved it! Will return.

Peaceful, but close to tourist activities.
The lake cabin was perfect for some down time, but still close enough to Chattanooga for day trips to see the sites. Only caught a few small brim, but enjoyed casting the line and playing with the small turtles in the lake. My only complaint would be low water pressure, but it was sufficient. A blender would be nice to add to the appliances. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a rustic stay away from the city.

Fabulous retreat hidden in the woods
We stayed at the dockside cottage for 4 nights due to a softball tournament in the local area. The location was perfect yet felt like a retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The cottage was super clean and communication with the property manager and housekeeper was outstanding. They were both so responsive and wouldn’t hesitate coming back in the future. The only thing I wish was that it had a washer/dryer. Other than that, our stay was really enjoyable. Absolutely enjoyed the geese surrounding the lake. Thank you for allowing us to stay here!!

Clean and quiet location
We enjoyed the quietness of the location and the cleanliness of the property. The location itself was not bad; however the properties leading to this property were less than desirable. We were not impressed with the number of outdoor cats and the fact that they were climbing on our vehicle. The number of geese were a little overwhelming but not overall bad. We personally will not return to the property but not due to the property or the management of the property, that was all above expectations.

Overall pleasant experience
This property is recently remodeled and very beautiful on the interior. We were pleased with most everything but we did have a few small issues: 1. Water pressure in shower is really bad 2. Towels had a very musty smell to them 3. Just before noon on our first day of stay a strange man smoking a cigarette rang the doorbell and disappeared before we could answer, It was a very weird encounter as he also walked directly by the bedroom window while doing so. Everything else was as expected and overall it was a pleasant stay. Security and safety of the area was the biggest concern.

Splendiferous Lakeside Cabin ❤️
Cabin was beautifully decorated, comfy and cozy! Woke up every morning listening to the God’s creations waking up and coming alive, birds chirping, geese honking ducks quacking, sat outside watching the sunrise the geese swimming over to our dock and hand feeding all the geese, some had babies 😍and hearing the frogs every evening was music to our ears! We had our daughters softball tournament to enjoy watching, would come home to all the fowl swimming back over! Got to enjoy lots of great eateries in Chattanooga, and the mountains were breathtaking! Rock City was the Ultimate must see! The Aquarium is also a must see! Was able to have some home cooked meals as well! The cabin is very clean and peaceful! The neighborhood seems very peaceful and quiet as well! We would love to come back again and also see what other properties you have available! Y’all have done a splendid job reviving this place can only imagine the others! It makes us truly want to get a place up in this area! Not to far to town for eats and shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time spent here! Thank you for having us! God Bless! Perfect Getaway
We spent 4 nights here and it was amazing. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We went to Ft. Mountain state park to see the mountains and also drove to Chattanooga one day. We caught a few fish, too. The cottage is very private and we didn't see any of the neighbors. I would certainly stay here again. I suggest bug spray if you're on the dock at night.Thats not a property problem, that's the nature of being near water. Awesome trip!!!
