Greeted with warmth and kindness, fully prepared for having a dog and the facilities were spotless. Great location and perfect for a dog. We will be back and have shared our experience with family and friends.

Settlers is a quaint little motel. We were in Turangi for the fly fishing and the river is nearby. The room was spotless and comfortable. It is not modern or flash. Donna is a wonderful, chatty and helpful host.

Due to Palmerston North and BP Connect in Taihape becoming a place of interest , and we had been in/at both after the Auckland truck drivers visits we had to cancel our booking. I could not make contact with Expedia to cancel our booking and rang the motel ,left a message, then rang again to ensure they had actioned my cancellation. The lady at the motel said she was not happy about us cancelling and was rather unpleasant about the whole situation.
