"Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."

There are some aspects of my room that were looking a bit tired. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"
