"It is hard to leave the balcony of this unit because the view is so awesome. I sent friends photos and they kept asking when did you go to Greece. Mid-January is a great time to visit the island if you like no crowds in town. However, many restaurants were closed because if the off-season. The condo was very nicely decorated and well-maintained. Having 2 bedrooms face the ocean was a nice surprise! There are about 72 stairs to this unit so pack light and get ready to get your steps in."

"Location is central, but not on a busy street. House is cute and interesting. The furniture was not the most comfortable. I wouldn't want to watch a whole movie from the couch. "Generally good stay. Only two problems that should be noted. 1.)The gas tank in the golf cart was less than half full. We filled it for you though at the end of the trip. 2.) The main key for the front door of the accommodation does not work. The back up key works fine though."

"Would be 5 stars if the beds and pillows were a little nicer (not bad, just could be better) and if the golf cart that is in the garage were able to be used by the guests. "Loved it! The front desk receptionist who checked us in was amazing, he gave us many recommendations and greeted us each time we walked into the hotel! Although the room was older, it was VERY clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was perfect! My only critique is the wifi really didn’t work most of our stay and the TV was very small with cable that would frequently disconnect. Overall, would absolutely stay here again!"

"We were actually upgraded to the Sand Castle Cottage next door since renovations were occurring at the Sea Crest Inn itself. It was a charming, eclectic & pleasant throwback to the beach cottage days of yore & we really enjoyed the stay. Amber gave us some island history at checkin & Michael let us stay a bit later than normal checkout time to wait for our Cat Express out of the rain. Literally a block from all the shops, & 2 blocks from the ferry & local Vons grocery store, so super convenient. The street gets a bit loud & busy during the day, but quiets down past about 8:30pm. Definitely enjoyed our stay & would happily stay again!"

"There were so many hotels on the island to choose from but what did it for me was the roof top view. Simply amazing especially during a sunrise. Melissa at the front desk was so gracious, helpful and so friendly. Only down fall to the hotel was the walls are very thin. I would definitely recommend this hotel when coming to Catalina. "
