Fabulous location, some maintenance required.
If you like being within spitting distance of the sea then this will make you happy. Sensibly equipped and well laid out. Morning coffee and evening G&Ts on the first floor balcony are wonderful. The only issues were minor maintenance ones. The balcony door was extremely stiff from rusting caused by the sea air. Rear door locks similar. Overall we had a fantastic time here and would highly recommend it. Local facilities are ample to survive. Lots of stuff slightly further afield by car or from the local railway station. Don't expect this to be the serious seaside for the kids bit we survived with outings and beach fun. If you are looking for the party life then you'll struggle but for a complete break, sea air etc. then this is for you.

Great location
We found the property was very clean and well presented with everything we needed. The best part was the location and being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sea. We always opened the bedroom window at night so we could go to sleep to the sound of the waves. We would be very happy to come back again.

Perfect!!
Spent 5 wonderful days here. Property was perfect, clean, everything we could have wished for and more. Overlooking the sea this was perfect from the moment we opened the door. We've spent beautiful relaxing evenings watching the sunset from the balcony.

Amazing sea views
Perfect house for a family of 4. Beautiful sea views from the living room and main bedroom, and the balcony was great for enjoying the sea air and watching the world go by. Good facilities, simple but fine for a week long break. Great shower, and comfy beds. Parking for 1 car. Less than a 10 minute walk to shops, supermarket and takeaways. Great bakery (get there early!).

Overall very good
The property was great and we loved being right near the beach. Thrilled to see dolphins on several occasions. Clean and sufficient utensils etc in the kitchen. The only little niggle was the filthy bedroom window that needed to be cleaned by us on arrival. The oven had obviously not been cleaned for a good while and the shower needed a better clean. However, this shouldn't put anyone off staying at this property as it really was a great place to stay.

Great Holiday in Tywyn
Just spent a great week here in Tywyn. Property was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped With all you need Bed very comfy. Shower powerful and hot View of the sea spectacular. Dolphins visited 3 times during our week not to far of shore but you have to watch for them. Also found the local area very clean and tidy. Thank you.

Fantastic location, away from it all.
If you want 5 star, this isn’t it. The sofas are uncomfortable, there is nothing to “lounge” on in the sun. The shower needs attention with some black mould and peeling paint, and the towels supplied are too small for wrapping yourself up, but the water pressure is awesome! All that said, the house has everything you need, inc gas heating, the bed was very comfortable and bedding very clean. The views especially the sunsets are stunning and the property is fantastically located to get to lots of lovely places. I especially enjoyed the train up to Porthmadog, fantastic scenery. I chose the property for its beachside location and access to the area, and was not disappointed. I would happily pay £50 more for week if the sofas were upgraded, some relaxers were provided along with bigger towels.

Fantastic beach location and base to explore region
It was a great location on the beach, with local amenities in walking distance, and a good location to explore the region from. The house was great for us, with two bedrooms on the ground floor, and a lounge with dining area and kitchen upstairs with fantastic sea view off the balcony. Very comfortable with all you could need for the stay. There are some actions to follow for Covid reasons which are straightforward and easy to do. Would very much recommend this rental.

Break by the sea
Overall experience good. However, property not as clean as we were led to believe(barely adequate!). Pillows stained yellow, kitchen taps crusty with debris, as is the stool in the kitchen. All areas had a very brief surface clean by the looks of it! TV very old and not all channels work. DVD Player rubbish, had to have volume turned up to 100 to even hear it. Please buy a new TV with smart capability and a blu- ray player! It wouldn't cost more than £300 all in! No excuse really these days, as families expect this to entertain their kids, especially on wet rainy days! It was great to be overlooking the beach! Stay was good, but could have been great! Walls very thin! Kitchen could do with an update/ refresh!

Perfect seaside location
This property fulfilled all expectations. Clean, comfortable, homely, with spectacular views over the sea and the added benefit of enjoying it from the upstairs balcony as well as from the living room. This house is in a great location to walk straight onto the beach and walk as far as the vast sandy beaches and sand dunes of Aberdovey, passing a prehistoric forest which is on the beach, on the way! It's also a lovely drive to nearby Barmouth and the surrounding areas. The town also has a train station with a great coastal railway journey I would have loved to have taken if time had allowed. I can't comment on food and drinking places because we took all our own food and drink because of government guidelines at this time. The memory of those views, beaches and 2 glorious sunsets enjoyed with a glass of wine from the balcony will sustain me for weeks to come! I'd love to go back in the future.
