An old man help us to called the given tel no. and sent us to the lady in the restaurant who helped us to check in and transfer to different cabin because there is a van that is charging in the given cabin. The house was tidy and clean, and well equipped with everything you need, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, water kettle, refrigerator etc. If you need to recharge your battery this is surely a good place to be! And thank you very much to our hosts: kind, polite, often there with a helping hand."

"We enjoyed very much our stay at the vacation house. Very well equipped, lovely surroundings, near the sea and other sights of the area. Checking in and checkout without any problems. "

"Nettes Haus, gut eingerichtet, optimal für 3 Personen, aber auch zu viert möglich, gut ausgestattet, sauber und ordentlich, und die Location ist super. Nur dass man die gebuchte Bettwäsche, die gemäß der Buchungsbestätigung eigentlich in der Unterkunft bereit liegen sollte, abends erst in Gilleleje abholen muss, also etwas über eine Stunde Fahrt extra - und nein, es liegt nicht auf dem Weg - war ein ärgerlicher Einstieg!"

"Das Haus liegt sehr schön am Roskilde Fjord, traumhaftes Grundstück und bietet viel Platz. Von hier aus sind tolle Ausflüge nach Kopenhagen, Roskilde etc. möglich. Das Haus war leider bei Ankunft nicht sehr sauber. Es war noch Geschirr in der Spülmaschine und insbesondere die Dusche ließ deutlich an Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Außerdem war die Versorgung mit Strom problematisch. Spülmaschine und Heizung konnten nicht gleichzeitig laufen, sonst flog die Sicherung raus."

Bettwäsche war nicht wie vereinbart im Objekt, sondern musste im 25 km entfernten Ort bei Novosol abgeholt werden, aus einer Box, die erst nach Anruf gefunden wurde. Wohnung ließ sich nicht verschließen, da das Schloss klemmte. "

"We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation. The cost of the meal for two was equivalent to the board but was absolutely worth the price point. I couldn’t believe the whole service was produced by a single chef. Brits be warned there are no kettles in the rooms. Instead the hotel lays on coffee and sweet treats for guests to enjoy every afternoon. (You can get hot water from the kitchen at any time though.) The vibe at a badehotel (bathing hotel) is a cross between a BnB and a guesthouse. The average age skews slightly older but we enjoyed the more relaxed pace and communal atmosphere of the hotel. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus and the cosy lobby with log fire provided welcome respite from the rain. All the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Natalie went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, offering great chat and plenty of advice on travel around the Danish Riviera. We would definitely come back again. "

"I love this place. It was a beautiful, quiet and quaint. The food was local and amazing. The staff were pleasant, attentive and social. There was plenty to see within driving distance. The water was beautiful and cold, although it’s a rocky beach, so bring water shoes. "
