"The house was lovely and the bedrooms comfortable and all with electric fans which were needed in the heat. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The large fig trees in the garden provided fresh figs which were sweet and tasty and also had a lovely hammock slung between them. You will need a car or bicycles to get around the island. Magical!

"An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Kuklijica, Uglj an. Such a calm, beautiful environment to relax, but less than a minute away from the harbour with its shops and restaurants. Our favourite place was the smaller harbour just a little further around the coast (U.Gnjojisca) there was a little beach, diving board or concrete pier to dive off into the beautiful green water. Fantastic snorkeling - thousands of small fish glinting in the sunlight, just magic! And a very quiet area away from the crowds. As other visitors have commented, Svijetlana is a natural hostess, who made us feel welcome and relaxed from day 1. I particularly appreciated her attitude towards equipping the rental apartments - making sure that everything was high quality and as good as she would buy for her own use. So we had a fantastic coffee machine that ground fresh beans with a milk frother - luxury!! The cherry on the cake was the bicycles that were available for us to use - we loved getting up early to go and explore."
