"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw...

"Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"Excellent location, very charming, lovely house. Overall, everything was great, but we did not realize the stairs would be so steep for the second level bedroom. It was challenging at night if someone had to use the downstairs bathroom. But to be fair, we were three older women. There were two resident dogs and a cat, which were so much fun :-). "Mary provided a warm welcome, literally, with a warm fire glowing when we arrived. She provided unexpected nourishment with home made bread and breakfast items. She ensured we had everything we would need for our stay, only wish it could have been longer! The home was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds and roomy bathrooms. The outside included ample parking space and nice patio on the back with tables and chairs to enjoy the sunshine one afternoon! The location exceeded our expectations....

"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "
