"This historic hotel is pretty basic but its location directly across from the Prince Arthur landing is ideal. The prospector steakhouse and roosters bistro are both just a couple of blocks away. The staff is friendly and there is a security guard in the lobby since this is a downtown area with the typical city vagrants. We have also stayed here in the summer and the Lakeshore view is fantastic. "
