Brand new cabin with cliff views, hiking trails, heated spa, farm stay

A countryside retreat.
The Capertee Valley is world renown for its bird-watching but this property is also a working farm so you can visit our cows, sheep, chickens or pick some fruit from the trees.
We have 420 acres for you to explore with creeks, mountain bike trails and direct access to the Wollemi National Park.
Our wildlife spotting includes wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and echidnas to name a few.

The cabin has its own deck and a large fire pit.
Each window in the cabin offers stunning mountain and nature views.

We are in a secluded location if you are looking for a peaceful stay.
The drive through the Capertee Valley to our property is spectacular.
The only sounds you will hear are our sheep, cows and the bird life.

If you enjoy hiking then explore our 420 acres which is a mix of grazing land, creeks, bush tracks, swimming holes and rainforest like gullies. Our property borders Wollemi National Park and we have direct access to it.
The Glen Alice Trail & The Bicentennial Trail are hiking tracks that cross through our property.

'Cabins at The Nile' is our Facebook page if you wish to see further photos of our property.

If you enjoy swimming we have several sandy creeks, a pristine swimming hole and a heated swim spa that can accomodate large groups.

Feel free to pick the fruit that is in season from our trees. We grow figs, lemons, persimmon, plums, pears and mulberries to name a few.

The fire pit right beside the cabin is very popular with our guests. You can cook dinner over the fire or enjoy watching the sunset colours on the cliffs. We offer firewood for your stay at a small cost or feel free to bring your own.
When the sun goes down the star gazing is spectacular.

Own a 4wd? You are welcome to drive around our property and take in all the tracks & views that have been created in the landscape.

Take a drive to the 'Paddock Cafe' which is about 20 minutes drive from our property to grab your breaky or lunch feed. They use local produce and sell a large variety of locally made products.

Have a larger group?
We can also accomodate camping and caravans. If you wish to book the cabin and then have camp sites nearby also we have done that before for larger groups.

If this cabin is not available for the dates you wish we also have another cabin on our property so please message me an enquiry to see if we can accomodate you in our other cabin.

Peace & Quiet at Tranquil Tiny House
We had a wonderful stay here and felt very looked after by our hosts who were super friendly and welcoming. The spa bath is just a short drive a way (near the bigger cabin and main house) and was wonderful to swim in while watching the sunset. We loved taking our car up the 4wd track to the gate of Wollemi National Park where we enjoyed a hike up the mountain. The cabin was cosy and comfortable. We loved being in such a remote area with such a beautiful landscape! Looking forward to visiting again one day.

Great off grid peaceful cabin
The Nile cabins are on a beautiful piece of land with ample bush and trails to get to. Jake and Mandy were very helpful hosts and made an effort to make us feel comfortable and looked after. It's a lovely property and the hideaway cabin is a small but self contained home. We'll try to come back and stay again.
