This little hotel is a great find. It is situated on a quiet lane in pretty countryside in the foothills of the Pyrenees and is a very tranquil spot. The local village is just a few minutes walk and there are a few restaurants to choose from. The village is small, but feels authentic, and has a tourist office packed with information. We walked up in to the hills on a marked track, and found views out over the sea.
Back to the hotel itself .... We were given a lovely warm and genuine welcome, and were given plenty of local information. The hotel has some lovely character, and has been restored with great love. The owners are rightly proud of their hotel, and you feel their touch in every last detail. There is a comfortable lounge with log burner and plenty of books and magazines. Also a lovely terrace and small garden. Breakfast was super, with proper fresh orange juice and warm croissants and bread. Also fresh natural yogurts and plenty of fruit, cheeses and charcuterie. This little hotel is very good value for money and a great base for walking and cycling. We would absolutely stay again if in the area.
