Service was excellent by each and every one of the employees I encountered througout the property. Sometimes they even went above and beyond to make sure all my needs and expectations were made. As it was my first time in Argentina I was a bit preoccupied and feeling out of place but their expertise of the area, knowledge, and their willingness to share it with me for my benefit was incredible. I would most definitely go back on future trips. See you soon.

The property is basic and could probably use a little updating. The staff was friendly. They missed cleaning our room one day even though our door tag indicated we wanted cleaning. The views are nice from this hotel, and good access to the glacier.

This is an old priority. You can’t see that in the photos, but there’s a lot of out dated furniture, equipment, etc. broken lamps, phone from 1970s, etc. some of it mountain Europe ranch style, but some is just OLD. The location is OK - 5 minutes from town and same to Martial Glacier. View of Ushuaia is great out front and glacier out back. Staff is SUPERB. Always helpful and kind. Breakfast is good, with quite a bit of options, but the 3 days we stayed… nothing changed - same things, same place. So overall, average. You’re not likely in town for the resort time, so go outside and just use the comfy bed, hot water with good pressure, and decent breakfast at a well staffed hotel.

The hotel is higher up on the hill/mountain with nice views of the city. One can walk to a nice tea shop and hike towards glacier jn 20 minutes. In order to do activities one always need to get in a taxi. Thats a major drawback. Taxi is not expensive at around $3-5 dollar per trip in Dec 2023. The hotel does require maintenance. The carpets smell and need cleaning/replacement. The bathroom fixtures are not in good shape. The quality of breakfast food wasn't great either. On postive you have great views from the dinning are and your room! The hotel.maybe a better choice during the season to enjoy moutain sports.

The hotel was nice enough, and the staff (especially Agustin, the doorman) was very helpful. But the restaurant menu was limited, the hotel is far too far away from the city center for our liking - which might have been OK if there was anything else to do at the hotel, which there was not. We understand that most people who stay here do so because they're hikers, or other type of outdoorsy people, and they may not be in the room as often as we were. That was not an option for us due to an injury that my wife suffered while on our trip. We had to find a place in a hurry since we had to stay over in Ushuaia due to my wife's medical condition, and our cruise line booked this place for us. We certainly would not have chosen it for ourselves, especially not for close to 300 USD per night. It's worth half that at best. The view of the harbor and the glacier was outstanding, but that's all this place has going for it. Taxis and Ubers are cheap, so you can get around if you need to.

Good hotel with wonderful location on a hill.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Hotel’s location is high on a hill. The views from that point are amazing! You get a Ushuaia panoramic view with the whole Bay Area, and also there is a Mountain/Glacier view from the other side of the hotel. I personally got a Superior Room on the third floor with the City View, and I really enjoyed it! However, I will say the windows could use a cleaning and the view would have been even better. My room was pretty big. It was decorated kind of basic, but it felt cozy and homy there.All the furniture was in a good condition. The King Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the refrigerator was super small, and I could not fit much food and drinks there.Also there was a small and old TV in the room, it definitely needs to be replaced as does the refrigerator.The bathroom was okay sized, but could be a little bigger to feel more comfortable. I liked having a bathtub in my room even though it was small too and barely fit me (I am 6’ tall). Also I did not like the toilet which seemed low and tiny too.Another negative concerning the bathroom was no toilet brush. Plus, I did not at all like any bathroom amenities.They were of a cheaper quality and smelled awful. The hairdryer which was built into the wall was very cheap and did not do a good job with drying my hair.Wi-Fi in my room and around the entire hotel was working very fast. I would also love to point out the super nice and friendly hotel staff.
