"The property is classic center parcs with mainly aqua mundo as attraction. The activity center is quite basic. We stayed at a VIP marina apartment. It was quite specious and very well equipped. However, there is no air conditioning or ventilation opposing to what is stated in Expedia and no bug nets on the windows, which is quite a torture with hot august weather. The area of the hotel is charming with nice river beaches. Notice that the closest town/restaurant other than the hotel is ~15...

"This is a great place to stay! There is a very good restaurant on the grounds, a heated indoor pool, playgrounds and you get your own “tiny home” with a small patio. We could park right in front of our home. It’s a 10 min drive to the Noordwjik Beach, 45 min to Rotterdam Zoo, 30 min to Leiden, 35 min to The Hague. Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. "We stayed here for 3 nights and would happily stay longer in the future. The park is close to the local town which has a number of restaurants serving fantastic food. We used the snack bar on site and the pizza was excellent even prompting us to return early the following night so we could eat there again. The shop however is very limited. Had we known we would have bought the basics before arriving so we didn't have to unpack and go straight off site again. "

"Het huisje ‘bosuil’ was goed in orde maar de weg ernaartoe was in heel slechte staat. Wij kwamen ’s’avonds in donker toe. Zandweg zonder enige verlichting. Nummer van huisje onduidelijk aangegeven. Parkeren bij huisje is op de weg. Inplanting huisjes nogal chaotisch. Ook veel te duur voor 1 nacht in vergelijking met een hotelkamer. Lakens waren wel voorzien maar geen opgemaakte bedden. Geen handdoeken voorzien . "

"The accommodation was basic for the price we paid. hotels.com did not make it clear prior to our arrival that we would need to pay extra for bedding and towels, we had to pay additional for these at check in which was expensive. "

"Overall we enjoyed the place. The staff was nice at check-in and check-out. Didn't talk to them. Did notgo to the snack bar / cafe. Did not use the pool as it was was 50F. There is an stove top and refrigerator. There is a really nice trail near by. I didn't know how to turn on the radiator. Fortunately, a friend of mine who visited helped. I didn't know there wouldn't be any bath towels. Fortunately, my daughter's friend lent us some. Had to buy instant coffee. Nespresso machine worked...

"Very nice place with comfortable large cabins and a great location. The unit was very well equipped, it was very clean and much roomier than I expected. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is remote but also easy to get to local shops for supplies, either by car or bicycle. This time of year is very quiet, but I can imagine in the summer it is quite busy with many families. "

"Loved that the hotel was within a 30-min walk to plenty of sights and the central area of Amsterdam. The area around property is very quiet and away from the crowds, but just note that means you're a bit further away from restaurants/bars that are open late. "

"We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, staff kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend staying here! Easy to pop onto the tram and get around town. Found the hotel a little warm, but very cold outside (November) so be sure to pack layers. "

"Very convenient place to stay and the staff is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing but pricey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. We easily moved around the city on trams and buses; get the GVB multi day pass and go anywhere! Loved it. Even extended our stay by a night because the hotel was so excellent."
