"The perfect hotel for a mini break in Budapest. After lots of research I chose this hotel for location and that was definitely the right choice. It is beside the Ferris Wheel, an underground station, a bus stop (Bus 16 takes you to the Budapest district) and 5-10 mins walk to St Stephen’s Basilica. Check in was smooth. The room was gorgeous, clean and quiet. We had a kid with us so the hotel provided a small dressing gown and slippers, in addition to the two adult sets. Breakfast is 6.30 to 11.00 was a long window to accommodate both business and leisure travellers. Great range of food. The bar is amazing with a great view of the Ferris Wheel. Wonderful cocktails. The service from all staff was 5-star. Wonderful hotel, recommend highly for anyone on a holiday to Budapest. Plus - we came for the Christmas markets and it is an ideal location. Only a couple of mins walk to multiple markets. "

"Although The Intercontinental isn’t the most attractive building, externally, in Budapest; it more than makes up for it with its superb location! Situated on the Danube Promenade, the view of The Chain Bridge and the magnificent, elevated Budapest Castle District across the river, is breathtaking - especially in the evening when the attractions are lit up. The impressive Parliament building is also just a short stroll away. The local area is bursting with options for dining out, shopping and transport links; whether you require the bus, the tram or the metro. The hotel boasts a pool and spa. The breakfast selection is excellent; offering choices of hot food as well as a huge variety of other options to suit all tastes. The staff were friendly and efficient."
