"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"The property is not as shown in photos on website. These photos are from several years ago and do not reflect it’s current state. It is very tired and in need of an update. For the price paid I would not expect to arrive and have bed sheets that were many years old (they were clean), a broken toilet seat and a dirty barbecue! "We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."
