"Stayed here for the ultranza trail race and it was perfect, so good to have a room walk distance from the start line where everyone else is parking. Staff were very friendly and meals were great. Breakfast slightly more limited than some other hotels - don’t expect the full buffet - but is included in room and did the job perfectly well. The common room areas and lodge vibes were a big plus. Would be a great base to explore the outdoors from. "

"This was an amazing place to relax. It was so peaceful and the surroundings are stunning. The property is also beautiful, very tasteful and clean. Gordon was a perfect host and we were very lucky that we were the only guests there. Beware that there are quite a lot of stairs to get to the 2 suites downstairs (I'm guessing around 15-20) plus stairs to get to the house from where you leave the car. "Overall extremely disappointed because it said "1 min walk from Lake Drummond" with two pictures of a deck on the lake on the listing and when I got there it is actually not at all any near a lake on foot. The host suggested to go to the municipal Lake and beach but those aren't accessible to us because we are not resident. it is also many minutes drive, with no parkin.
