"Läget är lugnt och fint, vid stranden av Göta kanal och knappt 20 minuters promenad från kanalkajen i Söderköping. Vandrarhemmet är beläget i en gammal kanalbyggnad och består flera rum som delar ett fullt utrustat kök och även delar toalett och dusch. Ifall man inte har lakan och handdukar med sig kan detta hyras i receptionen. Andra gången jag bor i vandrarhemmet och jag kommer gärna tillbaka!"

"Schöne, ruhige Ferienwohnung im Wald gelegen mit einigen wenigen ähnlichen Unterkünften in der Nähe. Die Vormieter hatten leider die Kochtöpfe nicht ganz sauber hinterlassen. Die Straße endet in ca. 6 km Entfernung an einem kleinen Hafen, wo ein schöner Ausblick in die Schären möglich ist. Das im Inserat angekündigte Boot war leider bei Ankunft noch nicht im Wasser. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Mit der Agentur hatten wir weiter keinen Kontakt."

"Det märktes att det var trevligt när vi kom innanför dörren. Rummet jättefint på alla sätt. Badrummet en dröm. Sänglampor som man faktiskt kunde läsa till. Killen receptionen fixade TV. Frukostmatsalen mycket fin o maten var fint placerad. Återkommer gärna."

"The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days."
