"The staff was very helpful and kind. The room is quite small but that was fine for two people. We didn’t find any sign to put at the door so we don’t get disturbed by morning cleanings, but somehow the staff seem to know exactly when you leave the room and clean it, even in the afternoon. "We booked this hotel for it supposed good restaurant only to be told it was shut as chef was away,so we eat in a pizza takeaway. The bar is a tiny room in the basement with three chairs,it was suggested that we have a drink outside which was even less appealing with two chairs a dead tree and dog muck. Our bedroom was dark,the beams made of polystyrene,the separate toilet was not possible to use without the door open if you are over 6 ft.the bath just big enough for a child. Breakfast was...

"We arrived at this lovely hotel to find that Expedia (hotels.com) had only forwarded a booking for one room, not the two we'd booked online. It appears this was not an isolated incident. Luckily the hotel could provide a room for the three of us but the mistake by hotels.com/could have ruined the most important part of our holiday."
