"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. "We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"The Villa was lovely and set in a very peaceful location but near enough to the local town (car required). Only 8 miles to the beach but mountain roads so a slow journey but very enjoyable with spectacular scenery. Some very nice local restaurants and a local small supermarket. Only problem we had was that there was no hot water for the entire holiday. They came to fix it on the day that we were leaving. Apart from tat everything else was great. "

"The best part of this rental is the location. It’s one of 8 houses (4 on each side of the street). The beach is on one side houses and a private pool on the other. You can sit on the outside porch and see the sea. There is easy parking. And there was a train very close as well. There is a close Conad grocery. A man comes every day (about 11:15) with fresh bread and pastries that he sells out of a white van. The owners of all the houses live below. The top part of all the houses are renters....
