"Le gîte est agréable et très bien équipé (cuisine, machine à laver, sèche linge, équipement pour bébé...) Martine est disponible pour ses hôtes Le gros + est la terrasse exposée SUD Cependant il n'y a que 4 véritables chambres, la dernière étant dans le salon. Nous recommandons ce logement!"

"Propriétaires très arrangeants, remise des clefs et départ possible dès l'arrivée si le logement est prêt. Pour nous c'était 9h30 😉. Le cadre est magnifique et l'accès par les pistes un vrai +. Seul petit bémol c'est le casier à ski qui manque sinon c'est une très belle expérience, le chalet est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Si nous revenons sur Valmeinier nous relouerons sans réfléchir 😉. "Had not been informed that this is more of an apartment rental than a hotel, and arrived at 10pm to find reception had closed at 8pm- there had been no warning of any closing times! Fortunately our apartment had been left open for us, but there were no sheets on any of the beds! The keys were not left in the apartment and we had to put a table against the door on the first night! Having managed to get sheets & towels the next day, we had to make up our own beds and after a 2 night stay were also...

"Le chalet Vieux Palins est très confortable, bien agencé et équipé. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Les pistes sont accessibles à pied pour les courageux via le télésiège de Moulin Benjamin, mais cela demande de marcher un peu (au final, nous descendions en voiture, la navette nous rapprochant assez peu). La station de Valloire est un excellent compromis entre un domaine skiable assez grand, un village agréable, une ambiance familiale et des espaces naturels à couper le souffle."

Fantastic property, perfectly placed.

"The property can not be faulted. The host was on hand at check in and provided a full tour of the property. It is modern, spacious, well equipped and clean. Beds are comfortable with clean linen throughout. Showers are powerful and hot. Please note towels are not provided. There is plenty of ventilation if it is hot outside, whilst you can still maintain security with the inbuilt shutters. Outdoor areas are equipped with chairs, tables and a large sun shade. There is also a gas powered BBQ if you want. There is parking for two vehicles directly outside the property which is situated just up the hill outside of the main town. Please be aware there is a steep road to the property, but hey, this is the Alps! The property comfortably accommodates 8 of us, our kit and 8 bicycles without feeling cramped. I'd definitely recommend it for large groups or families."

A definite home from home!

"The host is very welcoming and friendly. The chalet is beautiful and fresh. It had everything we needed for a group of 12 (3 families of 4 with teenagers). Our group had certain dietary requirements and the host was happy to phone around the local restaurants to help meet their needs, even went to the trouble to making gluten free pizza's for us. On hand if and when we needed - thank you! Amazing hospitality! Lots of information available within the chalet with the pink bus service that you can catch 50m up the road to get into the village resort and if you want to go up to 1800 the main resort there was another bus (No. 3) to catch from the village. Snow reports and if you want a visit to the local brewery. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend the chalet, the host and the area!"
