The location was great, close to the water by 2 MIN walk and uphill to the shopping places, small resturants within several MIN. Althogh the town was full of homelesses and drug addicts, we did not encounter any of them on the Thurlowe street and we felt very safe in that residentail neighborhood. The APT was new, clean and modernly decorated! The property is located 3 steps below the ground level in a shaded ali, therfore the den and the BRs were not sunny and happy. Altogether, it was a grat experince.

Sunset Beach retreat
My Family and I stayed for 4 nights at Sam’s place in Downtown Vancouver (Sunset Beach area)….it was truly wonderful and Sam took the time to communicate with us (all questions answered) and went above and beyond in being a host, tour guide, etc. The place is spotless and has everything a family would need…all within walking distance of van’s most prized attractions. We will definitely return.

Our family of 4 stayed here for one week and loved it. The suite is beautifully designed, very clean and well stocked. Upgraded fixtures and appliances made for an upscale experience. Location is fantastic, walking distance to so many things. Host was outstanding, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Family Vacation
We just stayed at this property for our family vacation. It was very clean, within walking distance of the beach, various bars and restaurants. The accommodations couldn’t have been better. The two bathrooms are a plus with our family of 4 including 2 college age daughters. Enough space to be comfortable and the kitchen and the amenities were great. Check in was easy and communication from Sam was top notch. Highly recommend staying at this property.

comfortable enjoyable stay
stayed here for almost 2 weeks. pros: 1. location- steps away from the beach, few streets from Davie st where all the restaurants, cafes etc are 2. brand new house with a beautiful design! for me its better in person than the photos. also pretty complete (except for a coffee maker) 3. has a washer and dryer so we were able to do all our laundry at home cons: 1. construction ongoing right beside the property. not bothersome if you shut the windows 2. while there is free parking, it is like 1.5 block away. still this is appreciated! thanks so much Sam for the wonderful stay! wouldn't mind coming back here again with more friends next time!

In town location, close to Davie Street with every type of cuisine you could possibly want. Very clean, easy check in, short walk to Sunset Beach. Very responsive and caring host. Apparent that they have tried to think of everything for your comfort.
