Stayed 6 nights, some things I can share with others: 1 - Property, quite new and modern 2 - Location, fantastic, about 7-8 min walk to city centre train station. As others have mentioned yes there are homeless people and some shady looking characters around the corner but that's quite normal with major cities! 3 - Service, staff are friendly and attentive. 4 - The only bummer is, I got a rash within a day of my stay here. I later also found out that the first 2 floors are 'pet friendly'.. so I'm unsure if it's the detergent on their bedding or an allergy to animals that are staying there at the time. Lastly I do need to comment - the images of the bar are bit over the top with the exposure, it is not that bright at all.

The stay at this hotel was fine overall. The location is central, making it easy to get to most places, which was a big plus. Everything was satisfactory nothing exceptional but no issues either. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for convenience and a comfortable place to stay.

This was my first time staying here and I was very happy. The staff was amazing and went to great lengths to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Everyone at the front desk, the breakfast buffet and the Living Room couldn't have been nicer or friendlier. The breakfast buffet was very good with several options, along with a daily special. There is only one elevator and, consequently, it can take a while for it to arrive but, when that happened, it was just as easy to take the stairs. The hotel is within walking distance to many downtown stores and restaurants as well as the Village, the waterfront and Yaletown. This particular area of Granville seemed to have more issues than when I last visited, but as long as you're aware of your surroundings, you shouldn't encounter any problems. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was a good experience. I really appreciate that they can store your luggage even after checking out, which makes it easier for everyone to respect the recommended hours for checking in and out. Friendly staff, and the room was small, but good enough for sleeping. It was also a greatly located in Vancouver.
