So let me start by saying I loved the property. It was absolutely beautiful and stunning to wake up every morning to such a beautiful place and view.
The staff is general were great.
Few things that basically didn’t allow me to give it an excellent rating.
1) really far from anywhere. Had I known this I would have rented a car earlier and would have not stayed as long in one spot.
2) We were bumped off two days earlier due to a large group coming. Which was communicated to us prior to our trip. We knew this issue and didn’t have a problem with it. However the night before our check out they alleged we knew we were going to move rooms. I told management we were never told this. She said the group wanted the cabins we were staying. We were NOT happy with this, but when they showed us the other rooms we accommodated them and moved to the other rooms.
Well the group arrived and they hung out in the main house which we were staying. They began to drink and became louder and louder by the hour. We could NOT sleep and had to ask the front desk many times to get them the quiet down. It was after 1:30 AM that the group finally left for bed.
But had I stated to management on my check out that we should have never moved. They should have made them stay in those rooms since they would have all be together and could have been as loud as they wanted to. We moved to accommodate management and that group.
Green light in room annoying.
