There were also sun loungers outside, plus an area for doing laundry and a washing line. Our hosts were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great - just a couple of minutes from the beach."

"The lady who owns the house is very nice, responsive helpful local. It was across the beach, 2 minute walk., crossing 1st Avenida. The only thing is it was a bit noisy as close to the street, other than that it’s clean, safe and very good location. "

"This house is is peaceful! It was just one night but the owner helped me getting drivers and exchanging money. The room has a little kitchen area with a table, sink, and a small fridge. Good to eat your take out and keep drinks cold, not sure if there is a cooking option. You have your own independent entrance. You can sit outside in the patio and balcony of the house and relax with the ocean breeze. Just walking from the beach and good restaurants. "

"It was a comfortable peaceful place in Varadero and I am glad I opted for it. Couldn't ask for a better location it's very close to beautiful beaches all restaurants and shopping places. We were welcomed warmly by the hosts and they got rooms ready in a quick manner considering we booked the rooms on arrival. The whole surrounding area is quiet a short walk and you are on the beach. Varadero beaches are probably the best in whole Cuba. Highly recommended if you don't want to break your bank to have an outing in Varadero. "

"This guest house stay was absolutely perfect for our time in Varadero. The host and her husband were so warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We were presented with fresh juice inside their house. Our actual room was also perfect including a kitchen and patio. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We were also offered breakfast both mornings for a small charge - VERY worth it and delicious! The hosts also helped to arrange our transportation back to Havana for a good price. This stay was beyond our expectations and we recommend it to anyone who visits Varadero. Steps away from the beach and nice restaurants too!"
