"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"Wir haben in diesem Haus zu fünft gemeinsam mit unseren drei erwachsenen Kindern einen wunderschönen Sommerurlaub verlebt. Der Empfang durch unsere Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, und auch während unseres Aufenthalts stand uns Anne bei Rückfragen hilfreich zur Seite. Die Unterkunft bot uns ausreichend Platz, die Betten waren gut, die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen - das betraf auch die Küche, die wir intensiv genutzt haben. "We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

"This is a lovely and charming cottage in the setting of the farms and vineyards of the Loire Valley. The cottage was beautifully restored with rustic beams, a nice kitchen, and a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom with two comfortable beds and skylights. We were greeted by ducks and chickens in the private front yard and presented a bottle of Sancerre by the owner. The property is ideally situated close to to the town of Sancerre and its vineyards and made it an easy day trip for visiting...

Great budget hotel

"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "
