"Nous avons passé 10 jours très agréables dans cette maison. Elle est très confortable et parfaitement équipée. Tous les équipements mis à disposition (notamment la climatisation) fonctionnent parfaitement. Le site de Dornes est tout à fait exceptionnel et idéalement placé au coeur du Portugal. La beauté des paysages et la richesse des sites dans un rayon de 80 km en font un point dedépart parfait pourles excursions et visites. merveilleux endroit !!"

I was also happy that that there was a shelf to place my toiletries in the shower. Ideal for a couple of nights if you are traveling light. "

"Absolutely fantastic villa for peace and quite and set in its own mini valley.Just one property nearby and that is the wonderful owners who are so helpful and nice but respect your privacy too.The villa has a lovely outdoor area to eat and drink overlooking the woods and large gardens that are kept so nicely.The pool is very clean and well maintained.We found everything we needed in the villa with some nice extras provided by the host.The nearest supermarket is just 5 mins away by car or 20 walking."

"The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet town but has a good supermarket. Overall this was a very nice stopover and I’d gladly stay here again. "
