"There was an issue with the pool at the Cretan Lodge prior to our arrival, our hosts contacted us a few days before and asked if Canes Villa would be ok as a substitute as they recognized the importance of a pool for the kids. "Everything about this property makes for a perfect holiday. The location of the villa is peaceful with amazing views across mountains and sea, on a hot day you get a lovely gentle breeze. We spent lots of time on the large terrace which has dining area, lounge area, sunbeds and pool and bbq. It was perfect for our family and felt very private surrounded by olive trees.
