"Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"I love the area. Plus my family lives around there so it's convenient. Bus transport is great. And it's a 15-20 minute walk downtown. I did not like my apartment. I had 3 windows facing an airshaft and one with light and air. I should have requested a different apartment but I think I was just too tired from the trip."

"Nice little apartment; very centrally located but a bit far from the main train station. It’s close to the main square , canal and port which was useful to us as we had a cruise booked . We stayed two nights but there were only two coffee pods and no explanation of how to use the machine . Some milk would have been nice as well . Not much provided in the way of breakfast either but that’s my only complaint. I don’t think it had air conditioning as well but it didn’t matter for us and I can’t...

"Much care is taken for this little home. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The location is close to many places to adventure. The host was very welcoming."

"The biggest problem was the communication with the property owner. We arrived at the address that obtained at one time and it was the wrong address. When we tried to contact the owner she was not available at the agreed upon time of the meeting and did not answer our repeated calls to her. We had someone else call and she answered but refused to give the person the address to the apartment and the woman had to threaten her with the police until she would give us the answer."

"When we rented this apartment we were attracted to the location up in one of Trieste's many hills. Having installed ourselves we found a beautiful apartment overlooking the bay of Muggia, clean, sunny, and very spacious for two (although the apartment is intended for at least four). We were told there is a bus right if front of the apartment. What we didn't expect is that this bus took us downtown in ten to fifteen minutes; the same going back! "We had a bucket list trip to Italy and this hotel was the best place, and really made our trip memorable and terrific! We especially loved Erika, who we called because we were lost in our car’s navigation trying to find it. Erika calmed us down and said on the phone “you’re ok, you’re close, and I’m going to stay on the phone with you until you get here” and then she quickly helped us understand why the valet service was the best route, much better than trying to find a parking spot on those busy streets! She also helped us reconfigure our room, because we had reserved it wrong, and needed an extra bed. We couldn’t have been more high maintenance, and Erika (and the housekeeping staff) could not have been more kind, accommodating and friendly. Really helpful to panicky tourists just trying to squeeze every minute into a short but meaningful vacation. She really is the superstar of the place, although the room was amazing, and the breakfast buffet deserves 10 stars. Terrific place!"
