Lovely hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff, good location in the old town. Can highly recommend.

The staff go above and beyond and always so wholesome and cheerful. All the online reviews about the staff being the beating heart behind this hotel's enduring success are spot on. An example: Our room had no kettle, and as we make our own coffee with our own travel 'contraption' and more importantly in the winter, needed to fill a hot water bottle due to serious back pain we were really disappointed not to have one in the room. No problem at all-- the lovely chap at reception found one in the hotel somewhere and brought it to us within half an hour so we used it during our stay-- many times a day. It was a small gesture but not something that most hotels would care about helping you with. These little things mean SO MUCH to travellers. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has good lighting for reading at night, great wi-fi, great breakfast, an actual bathtub and is in a fantastic location. Don't even think about it. Just book a stay here. We can't wait to return later in the year. Thank you to everyone at Pod Vezi.
