"Our trip has delays and headaches before we even reached the property. The property owner was so very helpful and Johnny on the spot. She went above and beyond to help us and made sure our stay was wonderful. The property was clean and perfect for our stay. We were on the water quickly and easily and our stay was VERY comfortable. I will stay here again and so should you."

"Incredibly noisy to the point where I slept on the couch. The 2nd bedroom window provides zero protection from the sound of the HVAC systems directly below it. The noise fluctuates in pitch and loudness making it impossible to sleep. It sounds like a truck is idling right inside your bedroom all night! The apartment is lacking maintenance in some areas such as the bathroom. Otherwise, it's nicely furnished and practical."

"The house was so cute and perfect for our stay. It was very clean and the beds comfortable. The neighborhood was in a convenient location and we were able to walk to the start/finish line of the race. Would recommend backing into the parking spot, so you can see the cars coming around the corner. It was easy to communicate with Glenda and Timothy, they were so responsive. If we find ourselves back in Baton Rouge, we would definitely stay here again! "

"The complex is within 20 minutes of practically everything, theres food places walking distance, and a corner store across the street . 10/10 sn: its a little confusing to find at first, but once you do, you can’t miss it again !"

"The house size was great- we enjoyed the location. House has a few issues that if fixed would make the space awesome. We had 10 people staying here with plenty of room for everyone. House has a few issues like leaking shower and wonky kitchen floor that were a tiny bit concerning. Host was very nice. House could use a few more things for guests to use such as kitchen pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"As a tradition my wife and I come down from Colorado at the end of each year to do our Christmas time with the grand daughters and celebrate the new year in Baton Rouge staying at a convenient place within walking distance from the Mississippi River and the new years eve fireworks. This place filled the bill perfectly."

"This was our 3rd stay at the Melody house and it’s always the best little getaway! Everything about the home is perfect, and the town of st. Francisville is precious! We are planning a trip booking both homes soon with more family coming and we absolutely can’t wait! Pam is so kind and responsive! We absolutely rate the Melody house 10/10! "

"Loved this property so much. The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed. The assortment of books was a plus, and my mom read two books during our stay. The bathroom was lovely, especially the bathtub in the master. The only thing I will say as a con is the pillows. They were very large and thick, so we wish we would've brought our own. All to say - we will certainly stay here again if we are ever in need of a place in Baton Rouge. "

"The house was beautiful and had all of your necessities and lots of extras. Clean and pleanty of room for all of us. We were a party of 7. Great neighborhood close to downtown where we had a family wedding to attend. Would recommended to anyone needing a rental in Baton Rouge. The host, Frank, was very punctual on answering messages and providing all info we needed.Great experience and had an awesome weekend."
