CHALET

The chalet "Le Grenier des Hottes" welcomes you all year round in the "Grand Massif" ski area with its 265 km of pistes serving the resorts of Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt, Les Carroz and Flaine.

With its 70 m2, the chalet "Le Grenier des Hottes" is very cocooning. It can accommodate up to 8 people and benefits from:

On the ground floor: an equipped kitchen with dining area where you can enjoy fondue, raclette and plancha. A living room with an 8-seat corner sofa. WIFI and a bathroom / WC with shower.

Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (one with a 160x190 double bed, the other with 2 twin 90x190 beds). Each one is equipped with a TNT TV reception. An alcove, with a bunk bed of 2x90x190, and a WC.

Relax in the small garden where you can prepare and enjoy good barbecues.

The chalet is located 150 meters from the blue lake leisure center, where you can swim. Various activities are offered:

On foot or by mountain bike, beautiful hikes await you with different routes.



WINTER:

From alpine skiing to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, come and enjoy winter sports in an exceptional setting.

ALPINE SKIING :

20 meters from the chalet, a ski bus will take you free of charge at the foot of the Morillon ski lifts. Everything schuss on the Grand Massif ski area.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING:

At 150 meters, the Nordic area of Haut-Giffre. With its 60 km of slopes, you will discover magical landscapes between plains and forests all along the Giffre.
A few minutes by car, the Joux Plane area (30 km of slopes) where you will have a breathtaking view of the Mont-Blanc massif.

SLEDGE:

Secure and equipped trails are available on several sites.

WALKS:

On snowshoes or with sled dogs, come and discover our mountainous landscapes as you do not know them.

First time Skiing
Stayed here with young family during the Feb half-term break for a first-time Skiing trip. The Chalet is superb and is well placed with easy access to the local supermarket at Samoens (5 mins away), the Gondola up to Morillon 1100, Ski-Bus as well as local restaurants. We were met by Sandrine and Yann who kindly showed us around and left us with a welcome pack of goodies which was really appreciated. The chalet is very well equipped with pretty much everything you need and is finished to a very high standard. Off-road parking is also available at the rear. We really enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate booking it again. Sandrine and Yann were most welcoming and we all had a really pleasant stay in Verchaix. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable, flexible and clean chalet, one of the best.
We did a long term stay at this chalet Feb-April 2018 The chalet is very new, very practical and clean. We loved the location, easy to get a bus each morning to either Morillon or Sameon gondolas for skiing. Easy to drive to from Geneva, almost a completely flat drive if you go the route via Mieussy so no problem on the roads. We loved the layout of the chalet, two lovely bedrooms, room for four others with the bunk beds and very comfortable sofa bed if needed. Lovely comfortable dining chairs and large solid table. Quality furniture throughout made our stay very comfortable. Every window had an external shutter blind these were very handy at times. Completely fenced and gated was handy for parking the car within the property and letting the dog roam without getting out. Yann and Sandrine on hand for any problems, very nice couple. Perfect place for a short or long stay, 100 percent recommended.

Half-term skiing
Great Chalet a very short walk from the free ski-bus or a very short drive to the Car park in Morillon where you are on the Telecabine pretty quickly - equally convenient if you want to hop down the road to Samoens to access the Grand Massif area from there. Just returned from Verchaix / Grand Massif ski area from a half term break with my wife and 2 kids staying at this lovely Chalet. Sandrine and Yann were there to meet us on arrival and give us quick tour of the Chalet. The Chalet is newly completed and is fitted out with all you need for a break in the Alps with high end fixtures and fittings - built by Yann himself I believe.. As there were only 4 of us we only used the 2 bedrooms but its plenty big enough for 6 and can actually accommodate 8. Sandrine and Yann were very helpfull on arrival as we neglected to bring towels but they helped us out straight away and checked in on us during the week to see if everything was ok. Lovely people, lovely property - book it !

Chalet magnifique
Séjour en famille 15 jours en juillet 2021 le chalet est conforme aux photos et à la description : très bien équipé (y compris la literie) et propre, jardin clos. Le plus c'est l'accès à pieds à de nombreuses activités : le lac de morillon avec accrobranche, un parc de châteaux gonflables certains avec de l'eau,le mini golf... À moins de 10 minutes de voiture de samoens. Les gets et Morzine (piste de luge d'été) moins de 30 minutes en voitures. Chalet situé proche de la route (parfois un peu bruyante) mais vu tous les points positifs je recommande. Hôtes très agréables.

Excellent séjour en Haute-Savoie
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Haute-Savoie dans le ravissant chalet de Yann et Sandrine. Propreté irréprochable, décoration raffinée, équipements de grande qualité, un vrai cocon de bien-être. La proximité de la route passante génère un petit peu de bruit mais les nuits sont parfaitement calmes. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Vacances à la montagne
Excellent séjour passé dans le chalet de Sandrine et Yann. Il est très propre et il ne manque de rien. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Tout c'est très bien passé. Nous avons même eu droit à un petit panier garnis à notre arrivée !!! La région est magnifique. Nous avons visité agréablement la Haute Savoie et avons profité des nombreuses ballades à faire dans la montagne et aux alentours du chalet avec notre chien pendant une semaine. Location à saisir les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons un jour lors d'un long week-end. Encore merci à Sandrine et Yann.

Chalet confortable avec équipement complet. Bonne literie. Espace extérieur permettant de manger ou se relaxer tranquillement. Bien situé au cœur de la vallée du Giffre pour des randonnées, proche d'une base de loisirs appréciée par les petits et les grands.

Accueil très chaleureux, Sandrine et Yann sont toujours aux petits soins. Montrer comment on se sert d'un BBQ au gaz, une vitro et si tout va bien pendant l'orage :-) Il n'y a aucune surprise, les photos sont conformes à la réalité. Chalet récent, fait et décoré avec goût et très propre. Parking 2 voitures clôturé, voisinage ok. Le seul point négatif est la route à proximité qui est bruyante s'il y a une concentration de Harley Davidson.

Très bon accueil de Sandrine et Yann. Très sympa, panier de bienvenu, même notre chienne n'a pas été oublié. Logement très propre, correspondant tout à fait au descriptif. Un peu bruyant à notre goût,situe près d'une route fréquentée. Et les propriétaires sont à l'affût de notre bien être ( ventilateur vu la canicule)

Superbe séjour à la montagne
Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 ans et 1 an) dans le chalet de Sandrine et Yann, en août 2018. Le chalet est très agréable et joliment décoré et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons bien profité de la terrasse et du barbecue et tout est sécurisé pour les enfants, ce qui permet de les laisser dehors sans stress. Les chambres et la pièce de vie sont très spacieuses et on s'y sent comme à la maison. Nous étions très bien situés pour les petites randonnées avec les enfants, accessibles en moins d'une demi-heure en voiture (Cirque du Fer-à-cheval, Col de Joux Plane, cascade de la Pleureuse, Lac du Roy,...) et les possibilités de randonnées plus longues sont multiples. Surtout, le chalet est situé à 5 minutes à pied du lac Bleu que notre garçon de 4 ans a adoré : plage de sable, jeux gonflables, mini-golf, accrobranche, poneys,... Enfin, nous avons aussi passé des journées au lac Léman et à Chamonix, qui sont à seulement une heure de route. Un grand merci à Sandrine et Yann pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Il ne nous reste plus qu'à revenir en hiver !

Excellentes vacances!!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Verchaix : les propriétaires ont été aux petits soins pour nous et nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous avons découvert une région magnifique et avons pu faire des activités sportives variées : canyoning, acrobranche, rafting, rando, baignade… Le chalet est très bien équipé et la literie est impeccable. Nous avons également apprécié l'espace exterieur entièrement clos et donc sécurisé pour les enfants. Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui ont contribué à nous faire passer d'excellentes vacances!

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances en famille dans ce charmant chalet, idéalement situé pour skier. A quelques minutes des remontées mécaniques, avec une navette ski-bus qui passe juste devant la location. Le chalet est décoré avec goût, les lits sont confortables. Les propriétaires, Sandrine et yann sont absolument charmants et très accueillants. Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse et recommandons vivement ce logement et ces hôtes!
