"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

"Really enjoyed our 5 night stay in the chalet. Kitchen adequate, great shower with lashings of hot water! Quiet and secluded location but alas the owls and cuckoos were heard not seen. Cinq etoiles d'or to Catherine who was a delight."

"We had a lovely few days relaxing in the countryside. Great property, lovely open space for kids to play and gorgeous peaceful views across the valley. We did a day trip to Paris, taking the train from L’Aigle. Check in and out very easy and Nathalie an attentive and helpful host. Would recommend!"

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All appreciated having en suite bathrooms and the living room, garden room and outdoor space which allowed everyone to relax and socialise.
