The hotel description states there is an elevator, however unbeknownst to us, and not listed in the details of this room, it does not go to all of the rooms. Our twin room was out through the garden on faux wet grass and then up two sets of stairways.
It is a quaint hotel. The twin room requires some ducking and we are not tall people. Carpeting is very stained, looks dirty in some areas and needs replacing. The blind covering the window over the beds was broken so only closed halfway. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable, although only one pillow provided for each bed. There is a lack of storage in the bedroom and no counter space in the bathroom although there is room to install something.
It suited our needs for the discounted price but I would not pay full price here.
Breakfast was very good as was the service from the staff.
Great location for both food options and the Palace.
