We had everything we needed and for the few food items we wanted there are plenty of local shops a short drive away or the very helpful and friendly bar/shop in Casciana-also great for a beer/wine after a walk/day out. "A lovely, comfortable and well equipped property in a quiet hilltop village with stunning views all round. We enjoyed the pool, especially the kids. It was a difficult to find the property on arrival despite the instructions provided, these could have more detailed and an accompanying map would have been helpful.We ended up parking our car in the village for the week as the narrow and steep road up to the property was challenging."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. We do like old school hotels when traveling in Europe. However at Notarie, it simply needs a facelift with current style of mamagement. WiFi needs to up the game. Great family room - biggest bed we've ever seen!

"Beautiful location, in a lovely village. The rooms are in an old but very well restored building, and the rooms were very well appointed. Great, very comfortable beds, good size wardrobes and even an exercise bike in the entrance! Only minor comments are that the shower cubicle wasn't the biggest and the breakfast had a limited (but good) selection"
