"Too far from Paris. Was charged for breakfast. Then there was that surprise at the end about paying $100 in taxes I knew nothing about. Nobody spoke English and cheap tickets advertise they speak English. Also the pool was locked and we could not use it."

"Basic rooms. No 24 hour reception so you have to use an emailed code at the gate to check in and pay plus get access and retrieve a front door/room access code. Except...for at least two days the card machine was not working which meant a call to the remote help desk - Ok but some operators don't spaek english. On getting in to the room - not a single towel and no loo paper! Another remote call to get the duty manager out! Not great :-("

"This chateau is not a special place apart for the garden. The rooms are big but not very nice, so is the bathroom. There is no shower, only hand shower. The amenities are very poor. Breakfast is a continental standard, and dinner less then standard. They didn't offer even a bottle of water in the room for free."

"The food was excellent but do not recommend staying at the hotel. The showers and bathroom mirrors are only adequate for people under 4ft tall. The rooms need remodeling bad to accommodate people. Also, they are serious about locking you in the hotel and parking area at night which caused an issue during our stay of someone setting off alarms and honking in the middle of the night when arriving late."
