"A’Zambezi is luxury enhanced by being on the bank of the Zambezi River. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and especially the location: having wild animals routinely wondering through the grounds (we saw Kudu and Elephants!) and watching the Zambezi River from both the restaurant and the balconies of our rooms makes this one of the best places I have ever stayed. "Great stay. Friendly and engaging staff, especially with our 10 yesr old. Comfortable rooms, though one of the two bedrooms had a much stronger A/C unit. Solid restaunrant and bar, though a little slow. Breakfast was not included with our booking and the price was much higher than I would have expected. Centrally located. Free shuttle to Victoria Falls every hour. The shuttle driver was the star of our stay."

"The property was amazing. We loved the lodge, we had hippos outside our door 2 nights. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was fantastic. We would definitely come back."

"The property has a relaxed, rustic feel to it which is appealing. The staff were all excellent, especially Mabel. The breakfast was also good, the family room a reasonable size fror 3 adults, but the bathroom was a bit small and the door wouldn't shut. The Lodge's restaurant was not functioning when we were there which could have been a problem; however, there is an excellent restaurant about 200metres away and an adjacent convenience store. Overall, a very pleasnt 5 nights."

"Entering the property at Ursula's Homestead you are immediately struck by the warm welcome from the staff and the amazing view of wildlife just feet from your room. The chalet style rooms are large and comfortable, with the feel of privacy that makes me feel at home. We sat for hours just watching the wildlife - giraffes, kudu, baboons, impala. No need for a bumpy ride in a safari truck needed. And the food is delicious, too. Would definitely stay again."

It is expensive but worth it, and we will definitely return. One very minor point was that one of our party bumped into the sprinklers in the thatch of the walkways behind the rooms: would be worth adding some signage or making them more obvious. "
