"Had a lovely say this week at Chez Mathilde. It was chosen for the peace and quiet and because of the lovely cosy feel of the property. It was just the right distance for us to explore the forts and bunkers around Verdun. The gite itself, had everything we needed including a wood burning fire. Annie was lovely and made us a quiche, which was the best I have eaten. If we go back to this region again, we will defiantly be booking Chez Mathilde again."

"Wir waren für vier Tage mit zwei Personen in diesem Zimmer mit Küchenecke und Dusche/WC. Das Zimmer und die Außenanlage befinden sich noch im Aufbau. Die Inneneinrichtung der Unterkunft ist dementsprechend neu und ausreichend. Die Dusche/WC und eine Abstellkammer mit Kleiderschrank und Waschmaschine waren vom Wohnbereich durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt. Vermutlich wird die Tür in nächster Zeit eingebaut. "Property listed on site covered parking, untrue told to park on street or public lot block away. Room dirty smelled of sewerage had to open window, Cigarette burns on furniture, in general rundown condition. Booked three days only stayed one, was told by clerk refund would be given through Expedia, they would not respond to Expedia for verification. Ripped me off for two nights. Be aware of this hotel don't believe what is published "
