First of all Penny and her Grand Daughter were wonderfully helpful and fun. It’s an easy walk to town and the ferry. The grounds are beautiful with breezes up on the hill and their horses, chickens, and iguana were a constant source of wonder and amusement. Just a great older style plantation sort of hotel. We found Seagate to be a lovely unique place with beautiful views and gardens. Lots of wildlife (including the sounds). Roosters abound, they make all of the island their home. Our sound machine on our phone was helpful for sleeping past dawn.
