"I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. "From the initial contact at reception for booking in with a welcoming friendly greeting, to checking out after a restful, quiet and comfortable stay, it's been a pleasant overnight stop off on our journey through France to the UK. Ideally located just off the motorway, but it's very quiet. There are numerous places to eat close by. We didn’t use any, but friends have frequently used them and have been happy with what they've ordered (showing your Kyriad room key wallet gets a price reduction from some businesses)."
