"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"A great place to stay for our three nights in Bologna. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. There are grocery stores nearby and a good restaurant across the street. "The Aparment is an interior unit over looking the interior roof of the building underneath. It's on the second floor right above one of the main city fresh food and fish markets. It's very centrally located right next to the main city square with walkable distance to all the main city attractions. However with that location comes really heavy noise in the evenings from several restaurants and bars downstairs until late, as well as some mornings hearing all the bottles and garbage...

"We had a very peaceful time at this well maintained property. Close to nice villages outside of Bologna and easy access to Bologna. Excellent hosts- friendly and caring for our needs. access to the pool on a very hot week was a godsend."

"This apartment is perfectly located in a lovely square with great places to have a bite to eat and a beverage! Simply decorated and had everything we needed. Quiet at night and comfortable beds. We would defiantly stay here again. When you check in just get some clear direction on where to dispose of your garbage. "

Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. "I had a great stay for 4 nights in early December. I would really recommend the hotel and would love to stay again in future. Lovely room - spacious, comfortable, huge bed, and very grand. We overlooked the internal courtyard which was a bonus as it's quieter than the main street. Breakfast was delicious - a great all-you-can-eat buffet of croissants, jams, eggs, bacon, cheeses, meats, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, cakes, coffees, teas, juices, etc - and the staff were very friendly. Each morning one of the staff went out of his way to recommend different types of Bolognese speciality cakes. The hotel bar is a relaxed, warm place for an evening drink to escape the December cold. Perfect negroni. The reception is very grand with a chandelier and wonderful christmas tree. Check-out was at 12 midday and we were able to leave our cases until the evening. The location is perfect - a short walk from the train station, and a short walk to the city centre main square."

"Everything was great about this hotel as far as a hotel that you need very close to the Bologna airport. My son and I had a 6:50am flight and the first free shuttle leaves at 4:45am which was just in time to get us to the airport within the 2 hours. Only negatives was the poor WiFi in my room (429) which made me go to do some work in the main lobby. My tub/shower had a really bad clog so I was in shin height water by the end of my shower. Overall two minor things considering the place was clean, not too expensive, staff spike English and less than 5 mins from the airport with the complimentary airport shuttle. I would use them again when in Bologna again."
