"To start off, we had a late arrival to the property; working with Stella at the front desk, she made our arrival seamless and easy (they do not have a 24 hour front desk). The location of the property could not be any more picturesque and the location to the town and local beach makes it feel like everything is right in your very own backyard. "Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"Fabulous hotel. Great location and had a lovely room with sea view . Only negative was the breakfast as it was till 11am and we came down at 10.40 and they started putting away all the breakfast at 10.50 which was very disappointing as we had no notice given to us that they were taking everything away . So gave us no chance to have anything hot ! "

"Great views and easy walk downtown or down to the beach below. Having a hot tub was a nice option. They have access to a pool as well but we did not try it, but it looked great. Room was decent, nothing amazing but no complaints, nice to have A/C after some of our stops did not."
