We had a wonderful stay at Joseph's place. The house was lovely, the weather was great and Joseph and his family were all so kind a lovely. Clara was so helpful. We really hope to return after an amazing week

Lovely area and great place to stay
Lovely welcoming hosts and a great house to stay in. It has loads of space and a lovely pool. The teenagers and others in our family group enjoyed playing table tennis and a few of us enjoyed petanque on the dedicated play area. My mother, is in her 80's, and uses a walker, was able to get around fine. There are a couple of bedrooms on the ground floor which meant she didn't need to use stairs. It's about 10 minutes drive to get to a well stocked spar, which had a good fruit and veg stall outside it on the Sunday morning. It's about 30 mins drive to beaches. We went to Platja de Riells in L'Escala which was a lovely small beach, easy to park and not too crowded. The bar on the beach was great and served fantastic food. We also visited Girona which is well worth a trip. It's a beautiful area, very quiet, and this house is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended

Beautiful Gem in Catalunya
My family stayed at Cal Rajoler for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment. Josep was a gracious and kind host. He greeted us to check-in, and was so helpful throughout the entire stay, showing us around his beautiful property and how to use the amenities and suggested the local places to go for anything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful interaction with nature (so many beautiful birds, flowers, trees) and completely disconnected during our time there. We loved being able to host our extended family for a get together on the porch with the beautiful views and sounds and had plenty of space for everything. We were also very central to everywhere (20-30 min drive to Banyoles, Girona, Figueres and the Costa Brava - it was perfect). You will fall in love with the house, the property, and the countryside and won't want to leave. We look forward to coming back to stay at Cal Rajoler next time we are in Catalunya. Thank you Josep and family!

Wonderful 4-generations family holiday in a superb house
We arrived to a warm welcome from Josep and Clara. The house was well prepared and every bedroom comfortable and every bedroom had quiet aircon or a big fan. Great to have a large dishwasher and well equipped kitchen. Most of all, the large terrace which comfortably seated 14 and the swimming pool were the focal points for our stay. Thanks to Josep for being a wonderful host ( and to his son for sorting out our parking ticket)! Highly recommended and we hope visit again.

Fabulous family getaway
Fabulous property, although tricky to find. We had 7 adults and 6 children. There was more than enough space. Dining room and outside seating for 16+. Children’s play room was perfect. The pool was amazing as we were there during a heat wave. I would enthusiastically recommend this house to anyone vacationing with a large group. The host was charming.

Superb location for multi-generation group
Very friendly host (and dog!) in very large and interesting property. Excellent pool and garden with shady areas throughout the day. Bar-b-q was a great success. I don’t think we ate indoors at all! Good Spar and small supermarket only 10k away, and impressive restaurant only 2k away in Orfes. Great vacation enjoyed by all 14 of us!

Een heerlijk huis voor een grote groep, veel fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden in directe omgeving.
We hebben met 16vrienden een heerlijke week in dit comfortabele huis doorgebracht. 'S ochtends zwemmen in het zwembad en daarna fietsen. Veel mogelijkheden. Van alles voorzien en erg behulpzame gastheer Josep.

Authentische, aber modern ausgestattete und schöne Unterkunft
Wir hatten hier eine wunderbar entspannte Woche mit insgesamt 12 Personen. Josep war stets um unser Wohl bemüht und stand für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und aufgrund der Größe, Ausstattung und Raumaufteilungen konnte man auch trotz der Gruppengröße seinen chilligen Platz finden. Toll fanden wir auch den neuen Außengrillplatz .

Hemos disfrutado de un fin de semana genial en Cal Rajoler. La casa es FANTASTICA, super acogedora. El espacio exterior para comer y cenar es super comodo. La zona de lo mas tranquila. Estupenda casa en el campo con todo lo necesario.
Hemos estado tres días en casa de Josep y hemos estado maravillosamente. La casa es ideal para familias grandes. Tienes muchas habitaciones, todas muy bien decoradas, varios baños, y dos salones con TV. Todo muy limpio y cuidado. El entorno ideal para pasear. Los niños lo han disfrutado muchísimo así como los mayores. Lástima que por la época no pudimos aprovechar la piscina. Aunque sí usamos mucho la barbacoa perfectamente equipada. Josep estuvo súper atento con nosotros y fue encantador. Recomendamos este alojamiento sin dudarlo. Intentaremos repetir en verano.

Casa cómoda, calentita y con todo perfecto
Hemos estado 4 familias con niños pequeños de hasta 5 años en el mes de diciembre. La casa es perfecta: limpia, con sala de juegos para niños, todos los utensilios de cocina, mesas grandes para comer todos juntos, cuatro ambientes de habitaciones (perfecto para las 4 familias), calefacción y agua caliente de sobra para todos, y exteriores para hacer barbacoa al sol, columpios para los niños y campo para jugar. Josep se ha portado de lujo con nosotros, facilitándonos cualquier detalle que nos faltara, y sobre todo, porque tuvo la inmensa amabilidad de llevarnos de visita a su granja de vacas, donde los niños y los mayores hemos aprendido muchísimo. Muchas gracias por este fin de semana tan completo. Nos encantaría repetir!

Génial pour une semaine de rencontre de grande famille sur trois générations
Arrivée sous la pluie de printemps, la première impression est très favorable avec une maison bien chauffée. Tout est parfaitement propre et rangé, lits faits linge de toilette à disposition. Belle tonnelle en fleurs et environnement bien soigné. Une flexibilité a été appréciée sur l'horaire d'accueil difficile à préciser un jour de départ en vacances scolaires. La disposition des lieux se prête très bien à la cohabitation de trois générations qui ne vivent pas au même rythme: grands parents et parents d'un côté et enfants de 10 à 18 ans de l'autre. Bonne insonorisation et facilité de circulation. Pour les repas: grande table et cuisine spacieuse bien équipée et dimensionnée pour les gros volumes. On a pu faire de nombreuses excursions aux environs et profiter du barbecue et ping-pong. Trop tôt dans la saison pour envisager la baignade. Josep et son épouse ont été très attentifs à toutes nos demandes de détails pour la maison et de renseignements et comme ils s'expriment très bien en français nous avons eu la possibilité de conversations amicales. Ils sont en outre très discrets. Nous avons passé une formidable semaine de vacances à Orfes que nous avons organisée pour fêter nos 75 ans en famille!!

Un petit coin de paradis.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse : plusieurs familles réunies pour une cousinade. Nous avions tout l'espace et les fonctionnalites nécessaires : une grande cuisine, des chambres spacieuses, des salles d'eau pour chacun, une salle de jeux pour les enfants qui en ont oublié leurs jeux vidéos! Le tout dans une région magnifique. Pour ne rien gâcher les propriétaires sont charmants! Merci à eux!

situation et maison magnifique
la maison est située idéalement en dehors des sites touristes entre montagne et mer, 20 à 30 mn en moyenne mais jamais loin de tout. Elle est fonctionnelle, très agréable, très bien équipée pour dormir comme pour y cuisiner ou se laver.. Il y a un grand jardin ombragé ou non au choix, une tonnelle pour se restaurer à l'abri du soleil, une piscine formidable, bref c'est un site extraordinaire, nous sommes partis à 18 et franchement c’était juste du bonheur entre ballades, visites, plages et piscine. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, sympas, disponibles, serviables, souriants, parlent parfaitement le Français ce qui est un plus. en résumé un site exceptionnel pour des vacances exceptionnelles. Merci pour tout Josep.....
