"Feels like Im staying at my grandmas that I never knew. Very welcoming, feels like home. My wife cried as we were leaving. Fantastic food/dinner. Would recommend to anyone who wants an at home experience. They speak pretty good english for the area and are some of the most kind people I have met. Its not a 5 star hotel. Its a 5 star home"

"The Staff was very nice, and helpful. That is what really saves this review. Let me be clear, this very quiet town is truly a step back in time, and the location to the Castle is want makes it desireable especially if you want to see how things were from the 16th century. The place was clean so that isn't our issue, the issues we had were that we paid for a king bed and got 3 twin beds, not the end of the world but the beds are extremely small and we are not big people. my 12 yr old daughter...

"I had a very nice stay. I speak English and the staff tried their hardest to understand me and help with all my needs. The day spa was very nice, but for 1 night stays, and check in at 3, and check out at 11 you can’t possibly get your moneys worth. Next time I will need to stay at least 2 nights. My room was spotless, very clean and comfortable. Housecleaning did a wonerdul job. Breakfast was beautiful on the terrace and delish!"

"Hotel Rojan in Sulmona was a highlight of our road trip through Italy. It is run by a delightful family. The charming Rosanna and her son Gianluca as well as the grandson were kind and helpful in every instant. Gianluca designed itineraries in the nearby mountains for us, complete with artistic maps.
